Nescafé: A coffee shop for people that don't wanna buy coffee
A "coffee shop" experience that fosters community and brand loyalty—without actually selling coffee. That's what Nescafé and Work In Progress wanted to create. They created a taproom where customers bring their own Nescafé sachets and use provided hot water taps to make their drinks. We were tasked to design the crucial entry experience: a user-proof, sachet-scanning interface that would grant exclusive access to the taproom.
Through user research and testing, we explored various design iterations, ultimately landing on a simple and efficient solution that had concise language, prominent visual guides, as well as audio feedback. Essentially user-proofing the unlocked experience.
